RESUME :
Un visiteur surprenant fait une offre que House ne peut pas refuser en lui donnant la possibilité d'aider l'équipe de Princeton Plainsboro de traiter un patient unique afin de sauver la vie d'un receveur d'organe traité par Wilson. Bien que House se trouve à nouveau sur un terrain familier, il se rend vite compte que ça a beaucoup changé depuis qu'il est parti, et il est forcé de travailler sur l'affaire avec l'intelligente et timide résidente Dr Park Chi. Après plusieurs traitements non concluants et manquant de temps, House et le Dr Park se retrouvent avec une dernière option pour examiner les antécédents médicaux du patient qui pourrait compromettre l'accord conditionnel de House avec l'hôpital. Pendant ce temps, House fait un effort pour renouer avec Wilson, malgré un accueil plutôt froid.
A surprising visitor makes House an offer he can't refuse by giving him the opportunity to help the Princeton Plainsboro team treat a unique patient in order to save the life of an organ recipient being treated by Wilson. Although House finds himself back on familiar ground, he quickly realizes that much has changed since he left, and he is forced to work on the case with smart yet timid resident Dr. Chi Park. After several inconclusive treatments and with time running out, House and Dr. Park are left with one last option to examine the patient's medical history that could compromise House's conditional agreement with the hospital. Meanwhile, House makes an effort to reconnect with Wilson despite a cold reception.

Un an a passé depuis que House a foncé avec la voiture de Wilson dans le salon de Cuddy, et la plupart de cette année, il l'a passé en prison. Alors qu'il reprend le cours de sa vie, à l'exception de Cuddy, il a des flash back de sa vie passée en prison.
A year has passed since House ran Wilson's car into Cuddy's living room -- and House has spent most of it in prison. While picking up the threads of his life again, minus Cuddy, he flashes back to memorable scenes from prison life.
Soilers : Season 8 starts out with Gregory House serving out a lengthy prison sentence for his various misdeeds in Moving On, including his trip outside the country in an attempt to escape responsibility. Entirely cut off from his old life, House determines his current problems are the result of his inability to deal with people. Feeling he will never be able to practice medicine again, he plans instead to go back to university to earn a doctorate in physics - a field that will all but assure his isolation from other human beings. As expected, House has great difficulty getting along with his fellow inmates, but does find his "one friend", an elderly prisoner who shares a fondness for chess. After one year, he's unable to bring himself to apologize for his conduct, show respect to the parole board, or cooperate with the prison system. However, due to prison overcrowding conditions, the parole board sees him as a candidate for early release as long as he can stay out of trouble for five days. This faint hope may turn out to be pointless. First, he meets a fellow prisioner with a mysterious medical condition, and convinces a beautiful doctor he has met working in the infirmary that with her help he can figure out what is wrong with the man. Second, his friend offers him the opportunity to get even with some of the inmates who have been making House's life extremely difficult on the inside. Lastly, one of the prison gangs makes it clear to him that he will not get out in one piece unless he delivers something within his control to them as an "exit fee" before he's released. In the end, House must walk a fragile path to save the patient, avoid trouble, and still walk away with his relationship with the pretty doctor intact.
